Silvera ("we", "our", "us") operates the Silvera mobile application and website (collectively referred to as the "Platform"). Silvera is designed to support senior citizens by providing access to employment opportunities, expense tracking tools, events, trips, health-related informational tools, and educational content.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India). By using Silvera, you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy.

A. Personal Information

When you register or use the Platform, we may collect:

  • Date of Birth / Age

  • Resume / CV (only if uploaded by you)

B. Financial Information (Expense Tracker Feature)

When you use the Expense Tracker, we collect only what you enter:

  • Expense descriptions
  • Amount entered
  • Category selected
  • Date of entry

Important: We do NOT collect or store bank account details, debit/credit card numbers, or payment credentials unless explicitly integrated with a secure, certified third-party payment provider.

C. Health Information (Symptom Checker)

  • Symptoms entered by the user
  • Basic health-related inputs

Important: The Symptom Checker is for informational purposes only. We do not store medical records or provide medical diagnoses. No health information is shared with third parties without your explicit consent.

D. Location Information

We may collect location data to improve your experience:

  • City-level location (used for relevant job listings and events)
  • Precise GPS location (only if required for specific event or trip features, and only with your explicit consent)

You can disable location access at any time through your device settings without affecting core app functionality.

E. Device & Technical Information

To improve app performance and user experience, we may automatically collect:

  • Device type and model
  • Operating system and version
  • App version
  • IP address
  • Usage analytics and crash reports

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information strictly to operate and improve the Platform. Specifically, we use it to:

  • Provide and improve the expense tracking functionality

If you apply for a job through the Platform, your profile details and resume may be shared with the relevant employer solely for recruitment purposes. You are in control of which jobs you apply to.

8. Children's Privacy

Silvera is designed exclusively for users aged 50 years and above (or as defined by the organisation from time to time). We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or process personal data from children under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will promptly delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

The Symptom Checker and all health-related articles and content available on the Platform are provided for general informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the guidance of your doctor or another qualified healthcare professional with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read on this Platform.
